Our service

Remedial Massage Therapy

A range of advanced soft tissue manual therapy techniques are used to alleviate musculoskeletal pain, tension, discomfort, and movement restrictions. Common modalities include Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Dry Needling, Cupping, and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation.

Dr. Vodder’s Manual Lymphatic Drainage

A gentle, non-invasive therapy designed to stimulate lymphatic circulation, aiding in the removal of metabolic waste while enhancing blood flow. This technique supports the management of oedema, including conditions like Lipoedema and Lymphoedema, and promotes deep relaxation and improved sleep quality.

Pneumatic Compression Therapy

Using a medical-grade device such as the Lympha Press, this therapy delivers sequential or peristaltic compression to enhance both lymphatic and venous circulation. When combined with soft tissue and lymphatic techniques, it proves highly effective for conditions like tired, achy legs, venous insufficiency and cellulite.

Applied Lymphatic Therapy (Dr. Vodder’s Method)

This holistic approach integrates advanced soft tissue techniques with Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) to address musculoskeletal pain and a variety of other conditions. It is
particularly beneficial for non-infectious inflammatory conditions, facilitating the gentle and effective drainage of even the smallest pockets of inflammation without pain or discomfort.

Assisted Stretching Therapy

In this technique, the therapist passively extends targeted muscles by guiding the joint beyond its typical range of motion. Once the end range is reached, the stretch is held and may be enhanced using advanced methods tailored to the client’s specific needs and goals. This therapy helps improve flexibility, mobility and supports recovery.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping is a soft tissue technique that targets muscles and fascia to relieve stiffness and associated pain, ultimately enhancing physical flexibility. By creating a decompression effect, myofascial cupping stretches tight fascia, gently pull the fascia from underlying muscles, improves local blood circulation, promotes healing, and reduces pain in the targeted area.

Our Clinical Modalities and Expertise

Understanding modern science recognises that pain is often influenced by multiple interconnected factors – physical, neurological and even emotional. As such, an effective treatment approach must be comprehensive and multifaceted.

At our clinic, we take a multimodal approach to care. Our therapist is highly skilled in a wide range of advanced soft tissue therapy techniques and is adept at integrating these methods to provide targeted, effective relief. Each session is tailored to your unique needs, drawing from an extensive toolkit that may include deep tissue work, myofascial release, dry needling, lymphatic techniques, and more.Best of all, there are no hidden fees. Every modality required is included as part of your session, ensuring you receive the most appropriate and effective care without additional cost.

Our Modalities

Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy (MTrP) is a soft tissue therapy technique where controlled manual
pressure is applied directly to a trigger point (muscle “knot”) spot, resulting in improved local blood
circulation, removal of biochemical irritants from the area and ultimately pain relief. A versatile
technique to address pain from Repetitive Stain Injuries (RSI) and postural imbalances.

Therapist applies gentle, prolonged stretch to the tight myo-fascia resulting in “melting” of fascial adhesions, improving viscoelasticity and gliding of fascia resulting in restoration of movement and pain relief. Functional anatomy knowledge of fascial system is essential for a better clinical outcome.

A common form of soft tissue therapy where deep seated soft tissue structures like muscles, connective tissue, fascia are targeted. Please note that deep tissue massage doesn’t mean pressing harder and giving you more pain, the idea is warm up and relax the upper muscles so that the deep muscles can be worked on. The therapist will continuously check with you regarding the pressure applied in order to make sure you are comfortable during the session. Often utilised for focussed soft tissue pain and stiffness and in combination with other modalities.

An umbrella term where various manual therapy techniques are combined to improve the muscle performance, flexibility and agility. Injury prevention and enhanced muscle recovery are key benefits. Our therapist will utilise anatomical and biomechanical knowledge of the body and the movements involved in the specific sports. Good for injury prevention and post event recovery.

Our therapist will passively elongate targeted tight muscles fibres by moving a joint past the available joint range of motion. Once the end range is reached, the therapist holds the stretch for a specific period of time depending upon the individual conditions and desired outcome.

MET is a manual therapy technique where patient’s own muscular contraction is used to relax the tight muscles, relax muscle spasm, relieve pain and joint stiffness and to improve overall mobility. A versatile technique as it bridges the gap between passive and active therapies.

An advanced form of stretching where the stretching is carried out in a specific sequence and follows specific movement patterns depending upon muscle tightness and movement restrictions. Often utilised to relieve muscle stiffness, contractures and pain due to these restrictions.

Our therapist uses various soft tissue therapy instruments (eg. RockBlade, Floss) to manipulate the tissue to relieve pain and stiffness, then chooses the right tool and dosage depending upon individual condition and presentation.

FRC is an advanced form of traditional cupping which involves specific functional or therapeutic movements that are performed while pneumatic cups are placed on the body. A great tool to treat pain and movement restrictions from myofascial dysfunction and improve physical flexibility.

An advanced joint therapeutic technique involving graded movement of the involved joint in order to regain lost movement. Once the joint is free, the movement improves and the pain relieves to show measurable improvements in joint range of motion is observed at the end of the session.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), developed by Dr. Vodder, is a gentle and highly specialised soft tissue technique designed to stimulate and optimise the flow of lymphatic fluid throughout the body. This light, rhythmic therapy enhances the natural function of the lymphatic system, which plays a crucial role in immune health, fluid balance, and the removal of metabolic waste and toxins.
MLD supports the reduction of swelling, promotes detoxification, and improves both lymphatic and blood circulation. It is especially beneficial in the management of conditions
such as lymphedema, post-surgical swelling, fluid retention, and inflammatory skin conditions. In addition to its physical benefits, MLD has a calming effect on the nervous system, promoting deep relaxation, improved sleep, and overall well-being.
At our clinic, we apply Dr. Vodder’s precise and evidence-based techniques to ensure safe, effective, and individualised care. Whether used for therapeutic, post-operative, or wellness purposes, Manual Lymphatic Drainage offers a holistic approach to restoring and maintaining health.

A holistic approach where advanced soft tissue techniques are combined with Manual Lymphatic Drainage techniques to address pain and discomfort from musculoskeletal issues and a range of other conditions. Many inflammatory conditions without infection can be benefited.

Pneumatic Compression Therapy is an advanced, non-invasive treatment that uses a medical-grade device such as the LymphaPress system from the USA which delivers controlled, rhythmic compression to the limbs. This therapy mimics the natural muscle pump action through sequential wave patterns, stimulating both blood flow and lymphatic drainage.
By enhancing circulation, Pneumatic Compression Therapy helps to reduce fluid buildup, support the removal of metabolic waste, and promote tissue health. It is particularly beneficial for individuals experiencing symptoms such as heavy, achy, or tired legs, and is effective in managing conditions like chronic venous insufficiency, lymphedema, lipedema and even the appearance of cellulite.
This therapy can be used as part of a comprehensive treatment plan or for general wellness, and is suitable for people of varying activity levels.

Low Level Laser Therapy ( cold Laser)is also known as Photobiomodulation therapy, is a non invasive electrotherapy modality used to treat pain, local inflammation and oedema. It enhances body’s own natural healing mechanism and tissue repair. Often used alongside other manual therapy techniques for an effective treatment outcome.

Kinesio taping is a therapeutic technique that involves the application of specialised elastic tape to support the body’s natural healing processes. It is commonly used to relieve pain, reduce swelling (oedema), prevent the formation of scar tissue, enhance postural alignment, and improve overall function without restricting movement.
The effectiveness of taping lies in its tailored application. The direction, tension, and placement of the tape are carefully selected based on the individual’s condition and therapeutic goals.
At our clinic, we use only high-quality, hypoallergenic tapes that are safe for sensitive skin and designed to deliver optimal results. Whether used as a standalone treatment or as part of a broader therapeutic plan, kinesio and oedema taping can be a valuable tool in supporting recovery and promoting long-term well-being.
A contemporary understanding of pain is essential for effectively supporting individuals living with chronic pain. While pain is a natural and protective response designed to alert the body to potential harm, persistent or chronic pain can have far-reaching effects impacting physical function, emotional well-being and social engagement.
Chronic pain is complex and influenced by a combination of biological, psychological, and social factors. Therefore, education plays a vital role in empowering individuals to better understand their pain and the mechanisms behind it. This knowledge helps to reduce fear, promote active participation in recovery, and support informed decision-making.
Our approach to pain management is holistic and integrative. It includes not only therapeutic interventions but also guidance on self-management strategies, stress reduction and lifestyle modifications. By combining evidence-based practices with compassionate care, we aim to improve quality of life and restore a sense of control for those affected by ongoing pain.
A poorly designed workstation or environment can contribute to repetitive strain injuries (RSIs), postural imbalances, and various musculoskeletal disorders over time. These issues often arise from prolonged sitting, improper desk setup, or repetitive movements without adequate support. By implementing tailored ergonomic advice and practical adjustments, individuals can significantly reduce the risk of injury, enhance comfort, and improve overall productivity.
Our guidance includes personalised recommendations on desk setup, seating posture, equipment positioning, and movement strategies to help you create a healthier, more supportive work environment.

Poor posture can contribute to pain, injury, and overall dysfunction. Through both static and dynamic postural assessments, we can identify imbalances that may be impacting your movement and well-being. These imbalances may stem from previous musculoskeletal injuries, muscular weakness or overactivity, habitual posture patterns, or a combination of these factors. Based on the underlying causes, a tailored therapeutic plan will be developed for you.
